I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Economics Department at Brown University. As an empirical micro-economist, my current research analyzes US data from the 19th and early 20th century to study how technology, institutions and cultural norms contributed to important phenomena, such as long-term growth, inter-generational mobility, the Demographic Transition and the Great Divergence.
My fields of interest include Economic Growth, Economic History, Comparative Development and Economic Mobility. I am currently in the job market, and will be available for interviews during the ASSA conference in Atlanta, January 4-6. |
